Hi Mr Lam, nice to meet you! I’m Karen.

The subjects I studied in Hong Kong weren’t the subjects that I wanted to choose. After receiving the generous support of my mother and the helping hand from Mr. Lam, I went to study in New Zealand in March 2017. I studied at Southland Girls’ High School for 9 months, my English level improved obviously. Although the secondary school I studied in Hong Kong is English college, compared to the high school in New Zealand, it is totally different. It was enjoyable and fun while studying. Naturally, I was able to learn the knowledge quickly.

In the coming academic year (Year 12) in 2018, I can choose to study Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Studying in New Zealand is completely different from studying in Hong Kong. It is not as stressful as being a Hong Kong student. The school days passed so fast every day. However, in Hong Kong, the quizzes and exams appear one after another, not even have enough time to rest. Being a New Zealand student can have much more free time and life is more regular.

The principal and teachers would pay special attention to international students. If parents would like to send your children to study abroad, it is not necessary to worry!
